Cover FX Mystery Bag Review!

Hey everyone! Today’s Mommy Minute is going to be a review of the Cover FX Mystery Bag! This bag is $50 and comes with a $109.00 value! I love mystery bags like these because it’s like buying yourself a present, which is always a nice treat in the crazy days of momhood.

The Mystery Bag came packaged in this beautiful velvet bag, and I also got 3 free samples with my order!

I chose the Blurring Primer, the Anti-Aging Primer, and the Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment!

All of the goodies!

The first item is the Custom Enhancer Drops in Halo (ARV: $42.00).

I love Cover FX’s Custom Enhancer Drops. They’re a multi-use product. This is a highlight shade, so you can use this as a liquid highlight, mixed in with foundation or primer, or even mixed in with lotion. This shade is so beautiful!

Next up, we have the Illuminating Setting Spray, travel size (ARV: $15.00).

I’m actually using this in the full-size at the moment. I received it in my Boxycharm from last month and it’s really nice! I normally love the Urban Decay setting sprays, but this one has such a fine mist, and gives my skin a nice glow without making my makeup or skin look greasy.

The next product is the Perfect Setting Powder in Translucent Light, travel size (ARV: $14.00).

This product I haven’t used yet, and it’s probably the one I’m the least excited about. I’m not the biggest fan of loose setting powders. I personally just think they make a huge mess and it’s not typically worth it for me, but I will give this a fair shot.

The last three products work together as a set, so I love the fact that they gave us a way to use this whole “system” of products together instead of assuming you own pieces of it.

There is:
Cover FX Click Stick (ARV $2.00)
Cover FX Correct Click in Peach (ARV $18.00)
Cover FX Enhance Click in Celestial (ARV: $18.00)

The Click Stick is basically a tube that the Correct Click and Enhance Click (or any other of the Click products they have) slide into. You can push one side and the other side will pop out, allowing you to use that product in a travel-friendly stick form.

I love the concept of this, I love how easy this would be to travel with and I think it’s a really amazing thing for them to include in this Mystery Bag because it’s not something I think I would have typically seeked out, but it’s a really nice product to have!

What did you think of this mystery bag? Did you buy one? What are your thoughts on the Cover FX brand?
