Hey everyone! Today’s Mommy Minute is going to be a review of the Winter 2018 Walmart Beauty Box! I know this review seems late, but I just received my box not too long ago. From what I’m aware, they were shipped out pretty late this quarter.

The Walmart Beauty Box is a free subscription box that ships every season. There is a $5 cost for shipping for each box. Each season, Walmart will send beauty samples from brands carried by Walmart.
This season’s box has a couple of full size products in it!
+ Equate 5 Blade Razor For Women, $5.72.
This is full size! And the retail cost of these already exceeds the cost of the box! These razors remind me a lot of the Venus brand, which is my brand of choice. I love that this comes with a razor and two cartridges so you have an extra refill when you need one. So far I’m really liking this razor, but time will tell if it compares to my Venus razors.
I said in my previous Empties post that Degree deodorants are some of my favorites, but I don’t believe that I’ve tried this specific one yet. Well, until now. It’s got a nice, fresh scent. It works really well, as have the ones that have come before it. And I haven’t noticed any white marks on my black shirts, which I am really excited about. This is also full size, which I love!
+ Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion in Sheer Hydration (1 FL OZ), $0.58.
I’ve tried this lotion before from subscription boxes and it’s a really nice lotion. It’s moisturizing without much of a scent. It’s not my favorite lotion as I do prefer a bit more of a luxe lotion, but it works and is a great size to through in my handbag, so I’ll definitely get some use out of it.
+ SOO AE Purifying Brightening Peeling Gel, $3.30.
I seriously thought that this was a sheet mask when I first saw it. This is actually a “super gentle and nutrient-infused exfoliator mild enough for even delicate skin types.” I really love my exfoliators, as you all know so I’m really excited to try this. I haven’t had a chance too yet, but I have heard some great things about it and this brand has always done well with their masks.
+ La Bella Super Shine Serum + Avocado Oil (0.25 FL OZ), $0.33.
I have actually used the La Bella hair gel a couple of times, and I had no idea they made shine serums. This serum has avocado oil to help polish and smooth your hair and is an alcohol-free formula. It feels really nice in my hair and did make my hair smoother and shinier at first glance.
+ La Bella Vitamin E Face & Body Oil (0.25 FL OZ), $0.49.
I also had no idea that La Bella made body oils. This oil is made with aloe and vitamin E to make your skin softer and smoother. This I haven’t tried because I have to plan my use of oils with my kids running around. I do like Vitamin E based oils though, so I have high hopes for this one.
+ Village Naturals Therapy Aches + Pains Muscle Relief Foaming Bath Oil & Body Wash (0.25 FL OZ), $0.07.
+ Village Naturals Therapy Aches + Pains Nighttime Relief Foaming Bath Oil & Body Wash (0.25 FL OZ), $0.07.
I actually couldn’t find the Nighttime version of this on the Walmart website, so I used the value for the Muscle Relief Bath Oil & Body Wash. I really love these though. I’ve used several of this brands products, and their bath soaks are amazing. These work really nicely as well, and I love that they can be used two different ways.
This was a nice box. There were two full size products in it, and some nice samples of things that I love and things that I’ve never heard of before. I like the variety in the curation of this box. I have heard complaints about the foil packets, but for the cost of this box, I think that the value is always there.
I paid $5.00 for $14.44 worth of products!
What do you think about this box? Did you know Walmart had their own box?
