Spring 2018 FabFitFun Review!

Hey everyone! Today’s Mommy Minute is going to be a review of the Spring 2018 FabFitFun box!

+ Some links may be affiliate or referral links.

FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that is sent out seasonally (4 times a year). It is $49.99 a box. Each season they send you a box of $200+ worth items in categories like beauty, fashion, and fitness.

This month they included some information about Endometriosis. March is Endometriosis awareness month! Endometriosis is a chronic disease that affects about 1 in 10 women of reproductive age.

These boxes are always packed so full, they almost don’t close all of the way!

Each box comes with an information booklet in the form of a magazine.

Each magazine has information about the products included and then typically interviews with the business owners of the products and some great articles and information about things related to the box and the season.

FabFitFun is turning 5 this year!

This box came with a $50 Hello Fresh gift card. I’ve received several of these in the past, but I talked to my husband about it and I think we are finally going to check it out, so keep your eyes our for a cooking video or blog post in the future!

I always get way giddy when I see all the goodies they pack into this!

+ Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch in Paradise, $60.00.

Say hello to the cutest clutches around. From designer Rachel Pally, these patterned picks are the perfect complement to any outfit. And the best part? They’re reversible. Yep, two clutches in one!

TIP: Use the patterned side to add a pop of color and use the reverse side to accent more elaborate outfits.

There were three color variants for this: Bloom, Zahara and Paradise.

I think that this is beautiful. Clutches are really great to have, especially for date night and things of that nature. I love the pattern of this. I think it would match a lot of looks and outfits and I really pleased with the quality of it. It feels really well made and it’s seriously so beautiful.

+ Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion, $40.00.

Skin perfecting lotion? Yes, please. This ultra-light, oil-free moisturizer helps blemish-prone skin stay smooth and healthy while also providing hydration. It also minimizes the appearance of pores, refines texture, and soothes redness and irritation.

I love Murad products and they make some of the nicest moisturizers in my opinion. I’ve tried this in sample form before and I really love this moisturizer. It’s thin, really lightweight on the skin, and really does my skin feel smoother and cleaner. I’m super stoked to have this in the full size!

+ Anderson Lilley Sunset Collection Candle in Super Bloom, $45.00.

Is there anything better than lighting a candle after a long day? Made with a hand poured coconut wax blend and a cotton, lead-free wick, the candle delivers a clean, even-burning fragrance. Housed in a lovely copper coloured vessel, these candles will add as much style as they do fragrance in any room.

Subscribers will get one of three variants: Manhattan Beach, Fresh Linen or Super Bloom.

I really love the scent of this, and I think the copper holder that it is in is beautiful. This candle has a really nice throw and I currently have it on my dining room table where it fits in perfectly. This was a great choice and I love getting luxe candles like this in my boxes.

+ Physique 57 Massage Roller, $20.00.

This massage roller does wonders for sore, achy muscles. Improve flexibility, break up scar tissue, and keep tender muscles at bay. Just 5-10 minutes with this tool will have your body feeling all the feels.

This was a product that came in several different colors, and each subscriber will receive a color at random.

This is interesting to me. I normally don’t use things like this, but I can see where it would serve a purpose. I do have really sore muscles because my posture sucks and I wear flip-flops every where, so I am actually looking forward to having something like this. I’ve tried it once and didn’t notice much of a change, but I’ll obviously have to use it on a regular basis before I can make an informed decision.

+ ISH Lip Statement Palette, $42.00.

Pucker up, ladies. This palette features 11 intensely pigmented shades and one balm that will give your lips a beautiful pop of color. Enriched with rose extract, shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, and aloe vera, you can mix and match for endless color combinations.

This is seriously beautiful. I have several lip palettes, but I’m not the biggest fan of them because I never feel like the pigmentation is really there. I was really shocked by this one, though. The pigmentation is amaaaazing and the colors are so beautiful. The quality of this far surpasses most of the lip palettes I’ve used in the past, and even the ones I currently own, so I’m loving this!

+ Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask, $40.00.

This vegan leather eye mask features a removable, non-toxic cooling insert to keep you feeling and looking refreshed. The adjustable elastic strap offers a perfect fit every time and a charming metallic patchwork keeps you dreaming amongst the stars.

This is another item available in different colors and each subscriber will receive a color picked at random.

I really love this. The quality is just unmatched. It’s so beautiful and I feel like it fits the contours of my face and blocks out light so much better than most eye masks that I’ve tried. I am a huge fan of eye masks, but super picky and this one seems like it might just fit the bill!

+ KNC Beauty All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask (5 Pack), $24.99.

Kiss, kiss! This lip mask works to plump and hydrate your delicate lips. Infused with collagen, rose, flower oil, cherry extract, and vitamin E, this gel-textured treatment leaves you with the perfect pout.

I actually have some of these already and I seriously love them. They’re great masks that feel great while wearing and after you take them off. They make my lips feel softer and fuller AND more hydrated. They’re super easy to use and it’s great when I want to use a mask but am rushed for time.

+ Maya Brenner Designs LOVE Bracelet, $65.00.

We love spreading the love, feeling the love, and we love this Maya Brenner Designs bracelet. How can you not? This simple design is perfect for everyday wear.

This is a really nice, understated bracelet. I love that it has the word LOVE as the charm and it’s such a delicate piece that I can pull it off with a casual look or a more polished look. This was a great addition to the box in my opinion and it is going to be wonderful for the Spring.

Dermalect Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler, $18.00.

Keep your nails healthy, smooth, and glossy with this filler. It multitasks by concealing nail imperfections with a natural pink hue while treating them with protein, vitamins, and moisture.

I haven’t tried this yet, but I have tried several polishes from this brand and they were all wonderful. I am in desperate need of a manicure and I just tossed my old Ridge Filler due to age, so this couldn’t have come at a better time!

+ Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (sponsored product)

Polish your way to smooth, soft skin with something different – Dove Exfoliating Polish. Created with 1/4 moisturizing cream that nourishes, this body polish cares for your skin as it exfoliates. Remove dull, dry skin from the surface and leave your skin feeling silky and smooth.

I have been wanting to try this so badly! I’m so excited that we got a little sample of this. I’ve heard really great things and even the packaging of this little guy is just so adorable.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I am so in love with this box. I will use everything that came in this box and it is such an amazing value, just like every season. This is one of my favorite boxes of all time and I will always subscribe. I will be posting my add-on haul tomorrow, so make sure you check it out!

I paid $49.99 for $354.99 worth of products – not including the Dove sample!

What do you think of this box? What is your favorite product?
