Bookcase.Club box is a monthly subscription box that costs $9.99 + $5 shipping. There are several options available from teen books, children’s books, and adult books of different genres. This is a review of the Kids subscription, targeted to a girl of 2-4 years of age. Every month, this particular selection includes 3 children’s picture books.
I’m always so excited to see new books for storytime with my kids!
+ “Where My Feet Go” by Birgitta Sif, $16.99.
Meet Little Panda. He’s awake and ready for adventure. But where do his feet go? Do they walk a normal walk down a normal street? Or is there more out there than meets the eye? Maybe a tree branch can be a shaky bridge. A sandbox a desert. A bath an underwater adventure. Maybe little feet can go anywhere . . . there’s a whole world to explore!
Young children will see themselves in Little Panda and delight in this charming and magical celebration of imaginative play as they find inspiration in Little Panda’s big steps.
I think this is the cutest book for children about all of the wonderful adventures your feet can take you on. It’s great for sparking a kids imagination and the illustrations in this book are super adorable. I can see this quickly becoming a favorite in this home!
+ “Ready Rabbit Gets Ready!” by Brenna Maloney, $16.99.
Ready Rabbit needs to get ready for the day. But first he needs to . . .
Set sail! Race his motorbike! Be a superhero!
Will Ready Rabbit every be ready?
Stuffed with humor and brimming with the antics of an imaginative rabbit, Ready Rabbit Gets Ready! is sure to entertain. And it may also help other daydreamers get ready for their day.
This book has live action pictures of a stuffed rabbit instead of traditional illustrations. While Monroe loves getting ready for the day, my son Gibson hates it. He wants to play and eat and stay in his pajamas allll day long. This story is great for him and catches his attention with the interesting pictures. I’m hoping after reading it so many times, it’ll help him put some pep in his step when it comes to preparing for his day.
+ “Betty Goes Bananas” by Steve Antony, $16.99.
Meet Betty, a baby gorilla. When Betty finds a banana that just won’t open. . . Betty . . . goes . . . BANANAS! Families everywhere will laugh out loud at Betty’s brilliantly observed tantrums in this hilarious picture book.
This book was made for my kids! Gibson and Monroe both love bananas – it’s their first choice for breakfasts and snacks and they also love gorillas! Gibson does the cutest gorilla impression with a chest pound. This is a cute story with a nice message and I think it’s really relatable for kids in the 2-5 age range.
I really love this subscription. I’m able to get nice hardcover picture books for my kids for a fraction of the retail price. They did recently switch from four books a month to three, but I’m actually okay with that because now I don’t have to decide which of my children gets an extra book in their room! The books are always super cute and this subscription has provided some of my kids favorite books!
I paid $9.99 + $5 shipping for $50.97 worth of books!
What do you think of these books? What is your child’s favorite book?
