March 2018 Nosejoy Review!

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing the March 2018 Nosejoy subscription box! This is a great subscription box if your goal is to get your house smelling great!

Nosejoy is a monthly subscription box for home and body fragrances of all sorts. Each month, you’ll get 4-5 scented products, such as candles, lotions, and more for $34.95 a month.

This month’s theme is Morning Mood – Wake Up To A Good Smelling Day.

“I love the smell of coffee in the morning. I love the sound of no one talking to me while I drink it.”

Scent certainly affects your mood, and though there are some true morning people, most of us could use a mood boost when we get out of bed! This month’s box is full of scents that can perk you up even more than your caffeine-filled cup of joe. Start at night with a soothing pillow spray, and wake up feeling refreshed. Then light a candle as a part of your daily ritual, shower with a body wash, and dab some aromatherapy oil on before you head out the door. Have a nice day!

+ Frequency Spray Positivity Aromatherapy Roll On, $9.99.

Who couldn’t use more positivity in the morning? This citrusy blend of lemon, orange and lemongrass is rounded out with a touch of rosemary and peppermint. Contains moisturizing oils, pure essential oils, crystals and botanicals. Try it on the inside of your wrists, or other pressure points like temples, behind the ears, and bottoms of feet. Roll on and be happy.

I am a really big fan of aromatherapy products. This is a seriously uplifting scent. I get all of the notes they reference on the information card, and they really do blend together to make a truly uplifting scent. Being someone who believes in aromatherapy, I do feel myself more relaxed and patient after smelling this blend, which is always a win in my mommy book!

+ Simplified Soap Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Body Wash, $6.25.

It is hard to turn off that alarm clock and get moving each day. But with this scent beckoning you from the shower, you’ll be eager to jump right in. The oatmeal milk and honey scent is delightful, and lingers throughout the day. The light formula rinses clean, without the residue that many body washes leave behind.

I actually can’t find this size of the body wash listed on their website, so I linked to the larger version, which retails for $11.50 a bottle. This has a very nice, clean scent that is pleasure to use in the morning. It lathers nicely and leaves my body feeling moisturized and refreshed, which is great for those busy mornings or evenings when I don’t have time to apply lotion after a shower.

+ Sandalwood & Sage Sleep Tight Pillow Spray, $8.50.

The key to a great morning is a good night’s sleep! This spray is a blend of essential oils known to ease anxiety, calm your mind and soothe your emotions. Gently swirl the bottle and mist on your pillow, sheets or even your body before bed. Then breathe in the aromatic blend of lavender, sweet orange, bergamot, frankincense, clary sage, vetiver and ylang ylang. Sweet dreams.

I am a HUGE fan of pillow mists! I use one every night before bed, and I am convinced they help me sleep more soundly, which is crazy important to me since I’m up and down all night with the kids. This is a much different scent then I’m used to in pillow sprays, but it is very relaxing and is great for drifting off to dreamland with.

+ Herland Home Dawn Candle, $11.00.

Many people light candles in the evening, but have you tried a candle in the morning? It’s a great accompaniment to morning meditation, or just to awaken your senses while you get ready to take on the day. This vegan coconut wax candle includes notes of tobacco, cedar wood, vetiver, black pepper, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and teak wood. A scent for the old soul or the wild child.

Ah, candles. Seriously, who doesn’t love a nice candle? I actually typically have candles burning all day in my house. I normally light them around lunchtime and keep them lit until we go to bed every evening. (We go through candles super fast in my house, which is why I have such a large collection of them). This candle comes in a nice glass jar with a screw on lid and a very simple label. This is a really amazing smelling candle. It burns beautifully and it looks great on my entertainment center!

My issue with this box lies in the value. I normally don’t mind low values if there is a special curation or idea behind the box, but for a simple box like this of products that are easy to find alternatives almost anywhere, I really wish it had a higher value per box. I really enjoy this box and I typically like the products that they send, but I do think I’m going to be cutting ties with this subscription. The cost just isn’t worth what I’m receiving each month.

I paid $34.95 for for $35.75 worth of products!

What do you think of the value of this box? Do you use aromatherapy products?
