Hey everyone! I just finished my weekly meal plan (we grocery shop on weird days so our meal plans are always for random days), and I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite Pinterest recipes. I typically get my meal plan recipes from Pinterest, although I am getting more into cookbooks lately. Let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in a roundup of my favorite cookbooks for busy families! I’ve been getting recipes off of Pinterest for almost the entirety of my marriage and there are some yummy ones out there! These are five of my favorite Pinterest Recipes, curated around a theme of being quick and easy meals for busy weeknights.
First up is this Copycat Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli Recipe from Cincyshopper. This one is super easy to make and really does taste like a dish you’d order from Olive Garden! I’m a huge pasta fan, and toasted ravioli is great for younger kids that haven’t quite figured out silverware yet – it provides a nice finger food to help with motor skills and pincer grasp and you can dip it, which my kids always find to be a blast at the dinner table.
Next up is this Cajun Chicken Alfredo recipe from Aunt Bees Recipes. She created this recipe as a personal challenge when her mom claimed she had just eaten the best Cajun Chicken Alfredo ever. This recipe is very similar to the Red Lobster Cajun Chicken Alfredo, which is what I always order when we go to Red Lobster. It’s a quick meal to make – perfect for busy weeknights and I love that it has directions on how to make it a mild, family-friendly meal.
Next are these Buffalo Chicken Sliders from A Flavor Journal. This recipe is made with rotisserie chicken, so it’s great if you are running to the store on your way home and need something quick for dinner, or even if you cook the chicken in a crockpot throughout the day and throw these together right before you eat. I normally double the recipe, since the original is for a 2-person meal. My son isn’t a huge fan of this one since he doesn’t love spicy foods, but my daughter can’t get enough of it!
This is seriously one of my favorite things to make for dinner. This is the BBQ Chicken Tostadas from Cupcakes and Kale Chips. This is another recipe using rotisserie chicken and once the chicken is cooked and shredded, this takes minutes to make! It’s super easy and great for nights that you don’t have a ton of time. We sometimes even use this as a dinner plan for movie nights. No utensils required and the kids love it!
Last but not least is this Nachos Deluxe recipe from Anns Entitled Life. This is actually one of my husbands favorites. He loves how easy it is to throw together and it’s another great option for family movie nights or game nights. It’s easy to make, tastes great and is a crowd pleaser for sure.
