April 2018 Bluum Review! – A Must-Have for Curious Toddlers

Hey everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the April 2018 Bluum box. This review is a bit late, my bad. But this box is worth the wait. My kids LOVE this box. Every time they see the bright box in the mailbox, it’s like Christmastime! And I love finding out about new toys and brands that I’ve never heard of before!

Bluum is $33.99 a month and it’s a monthly subscription box for moms and kids, from pregnancy to age 5. Each box is customized to your child’s age and the stage they might be in. Right now you can get a free box with any 6 or 12 month subscription!

Bluum doesn’t send an information card, nor is there a theme for any given month, but each box is customized to your child. This box is customized to Gibson, a 3 year old boy.

+ Alex Toys Rub A Dub Water Whistle, $8.00.

Surprisingly, I actually got this for my kids for Easter. Which I view as good and bad. Bluum sends quality toys that I would purchase for my kids myself, but it is a toy that I already have. My kids do love this though, they love pretty much any musical toys, and this one is really cool because it’s meant for bath time! Because I already have this, I’ll probably donate this one to a charity or save it for Toys For Tots.

+ Rich Frog Gone Fishin’ Magnetic Bathtub Game, $13.49.

This is the cutest thing ever! This set comes with three mesh sea creatures that have magnets inside and a mesh fishing pole with a magnetic in the ball to “catch” the fish. Gibson has a Melissa & Doug magnetic fishing set that he loves, but I think he likes this one a little bit more since it’s a bath toy. I think it’s a really cute set and very well made. This is a win for us!

+ eeBoo Happy Families Card Game, $9.95.

This is a really cute game that helps kids with social skills and family interactions. I’ve never seen anything like this before, but I have high hopes for it. Kylor and I have always loved a good game night with friends and we are so excited to start that tradition with our kids. This is labeled 3+, but we haven’t tried it yet. I’m a bit concerned with Gibson’s skill level when it comes to things like this, but we plan to try it out this summer. I’ll post an update on Instagram when we do! (@mommymessmer).

+ Discovery Kids Dinosaur Factivity, $12.74.

This is seriously so cool! Gibson is a huge dinosaur fanatic. This set comes with a really cool activity book called Land Of The Dinosaurs that has over 400 facts and activities and a 10-piece skeleton model that you can put together. Gibson loves this book and has already attempted about half the activities. The model was super easy to put together and was a great family activity.

This was another great month from Bluum. My kids will use everything in the box (and in the case of the water whistle, already have), and it’s stuff I would have never known existed if not for Bluum. This continues to be a favorite subscription of me and my kids and I can see it being a favorite for years to come.

Do you subscribe to Bluum? Are dinosaurs super popular in your house?
