Hey everyone! So lately, everyone is coming out with their own series of One-Time purchase beauty boxes: Target, Walmart, Ulta, etc. I happen to love these, because in addition to being a subscription box addict, I just love variety boxes in general. These boxes are a great way to try out new products, save some money, treat yourself and find some new favorites along the way. I wanted to start this (mini?) series as an overview of what each store is offering in their boxes, as well as my thoughts. I figured this would be a good way to compare them so you could decide which ones might be worth picking up. These are NOT subscription boxes, they are one-time purchase boxes that you can buy online or in-stores.

We are starting out this series with Target. Target came out with four subscription boxes, but I was only able to find three :(. They’re the only store that I have an incomplete set from.
The Wake Up and Make Up box is the one I was not able to locate.
First of all, I’m loving this price point. I pay more than $7 for a quality lipstick, so I think it’s a super affordable price for what you are getting.
We are going to start with the Target Beauty Box All The Masks ($7).
I love the packaging on this box. It’s so adorable!
This box does come with an information card and a $1 St. Ives Facial Care coupon.
Hello, Radiance! Dehydration. . . pesky blemishes. . . scaly patches. Luckily, there’s a face mask to solve any of your skin woes! Inside this box, you’ll find a few of our faves reformulated to restore and rejuvenate your complexion.
This box includes:
+ Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Gel Mask ($2.59). This mask is for dry & dehydrated skin.
+ Que Bella Multi Mask Trio (2.99). This mask is a multi mask. It’s a trio of masks that can be used separately or together for multiple facial concerns.
+ Yes To Carrots and Kale Single Use Paper Mask ($2.50). This mask is for dullness and is 100% vegan.
+ Masque Bar Charcoal Peel Off Mask ($3.66 based of cost of 3-pack set). This mask is not available for purchase on the Target website, so I linked to masks by the same brand. This mask is for acne prone skin.
+ St. Ives Soothing Sheet Mask ($2.49). This mask is for daily use and contains 100% natural extracts.
This set has a value of $14.23, which is over double the cost of the box! This is great if you’re a fan of masks or just want to test some out in a really affordable way. I’ve been wanting to try a couple of these for a while, so I’m really excited they came in this box!
The next box up is the Target Beauty Box Treat Yourself ($7).
And more cute packaging! Target really got this right.
This box also comes with an information card and a booklet of Target coupons for brands featured in this box.

+ Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser, 1 OZ ($3.60)
This set has a value of $20.67, which is way over double the cost of the box! The values listed above are based on the cost of the full size. I think that this set is great. It’s got a nice variety of products, some more popular ones like the Olay and Honest Beauty products and some that I’ve never heard of, like the Luxe by Mr. Bubble. I always love getting bath products. I think this is another win from Target!
The last set that I have is the Target Beauty Box Be YOU(tiful), ($7).
This packaging reminds me of those cups from the 90’s, like the ones in Saved By The Bell. Am I crazy?
This box comes with an information card and a booklet of coupons for the brands featured in the box.
Mama always said beauty comes from within! Inside this box, you’ll find a few of our faves that let YOU shine – whatever your style and no matter your mood.

This set has a value of $29.87! That’s the best so far! This box was really impressive due to the amount of full size products included. I have been dying to try this L’Oreal Cleanser, so I’m really excited that it was included and the nail polish is a really pretty color.
These boxes were great! I love that they had information cards included with tidbits and helpful facts about each products. I love that they came with coupons to use on full size products from the brands. I think the value for these boxes was a bit all over the place in range, but still very good. I love the $7 price point for these boxes, it’s super affordable and I think this is a great option for box lovers, people who want to test a variety of products or people who want to dip their toes in box land. I highly recommend these.
I can’t wait to see how these stack up to the Walmart and Ulta boxes! My overview and of those and a comparison of these boxes is coming up, so make sure you’re subscribed!
What do you think of these boxes? Have you ordered any of these?
