I remember a few years ago, I was not a big Burt’s Bees fan. I just found their products kind of meh. I think they have really had a glow up recently. I’m finding myself drawn to so many of their products, but with everything out there (including my own personal collection), I didn’t really know where to start with their newer stuff. Then they released another “Burt’s Box“, which is their version of a mystery box. What can I say? Opportunity knocked!

Burt’s Box is a mystery box that includes old favorites and new products. This particular box is sold out at the moment, but they do release these from time to time. I’ll announce on my Instagram (@mommymessmer) the next time one of these is released, and this review should give you a decent idea of what to expect.
This box cost $50.00.
Everything was packaged really nicely, but because this is a “mystery box”, there is no information card.
Burt’s Bees Makeup Bag ($?)
This is a really nice quality bag. I can’t find this bag on their website though, so I can’t find an accurate price for it. It’s very cute and I love the floral pattern on it. It’s larger than an Ipsy bag, and it’s always nice to have extra makeup bags around.
Burt’s Bees Headband ($?) | Burt’s Bees Detoxifying Charcoal Sheet Mask ($3.00)
This headband is another item that I can’t find on the Burt’s Bees website, but how cute is this?! It has a honeycomb pattern on it and will be perfect for keeping my hair back while I do my makeup or a mask. Maybe for my skincare routine. Either way, I love headbands like this and will always gladly accept a cute one.
We all know that I love my sheet masks. And charcoal sheet masks are a new obsession of mine. They’re just so cool! This is a detoxifying mask that is made with honey. You’re only supposed to wear it for two minutes, which seems short to me. I haven’t tried this one yet, but I’ve been wanting to try one of Burt’s Bees new sheet masks for a while, so this is a win for me!
OOOO, I love Micellar waters and Micellar water-type products.
These cleansing towelettes are okay. I haven’t been able to use them enough to form a true opinion. I really want to love them, but the couple times I have been able to try them it’s taken a tad of scrubbing to get my makeup off. I’m hoping it gets a little better. They’re not the worst wipes I’ve used, but they’re not the best right now either.
I do like this cleansing water so far. I love using Micellar cleansing water to remove my eye makeup. I find it way less harsh than eye makeup remover, which always leaves some kind of film on my skin. This one is working nicely so far, so let’s hope that trend keeps up.
This lip treatment has very simple and very cute packaging. It has a minty scent and a very odd texture. It’s thick, but not overly thick. It feels really hydrating on the lips and took care of those baby dry patches that I seem to acquire after wearing heavy duty lippies. This is a win for me!
This gel cream comes in a really nice glass jar. I don’t know if I got a weird jar or if it melted during shipping, but the texture of this is the weirdest thing ever. It’s like a flan, just jiggling all over the place. It’s really nice though, it’s incredible cooling and hydrating. I am very quickly falling in love with this.
I have always been a fan of Burt’s Bees lip balm. This one has an interesting scent, but the formula is the same as their other lip balms, so it’ll get used! These are always great to have laying around the house. And in my purse. And in my car. So, yeah it’ll definitely get used.
These liquid lipsticks are really creamy and not as thick as most liquid lipsticks I’ve used seem to be. I love the shades of these, although they are pretty similar. They do have a bit of shimmer that catches in the light, which I’m a fan of. These colors will be gorgeous for the Spring/Summer seasons, so it’s a win in my book!
I am a sucker for a nice body wash. I have a serious problem and hoard body wash like no other. That could be due to the rate that Kylor goes through a bottle. Seriously. He can use like a quarter of the amount he actually uses and he would still be using double what the average human does. I love lavender and honey scents and this body wash smells fantastic! It really does provide a nice calming sense and just gives me that “serene” type feel.
This box cost $50.00 and had a value of $80.30, not including the makeup bag and headband. I love that so many of these products are ones that I haven’t tried yet and they included some classic scents and shades. I’m very pleased with this box (although I do love me a good mystery box). I’d say if you’re a Burt’s Bees fan, keep your eyes peeled for the next time they release one of these boxes. I think it’s definitely worth the price!
What do you think of this box? What is your favorite Burt’s Bees product?
