Ya’ll I have had three kids. I’ve always had wider hips and after three kids, they seem to have just continued to expand. Long story short, none of shorts fit over my hips anymore. Le sigh. So thus began my quest for new shorts. And then. . .
Target to the rescue! I mean, how serendipitous is that?! So a shopping we went. Now in all seriousness, Target has some really cute clothes. Some of my favorite graphic T’s are from Target and I love their jeans. Plus, a lot of their shorts were on sale + the cartwheel still applied! But, their shorts are still way affordable even without these discounts (but their clothes go on sale all the time).

I may have gone a little crazy. . .
. . . or a lot. (Hey, I told you that I liked their tees!)
I really like distressed jeans and shorts and this black pair will go well with a variety of tops and tees, so I had to grab these! These are really nice for casual summer days and I love that they are high-waisted.
These are casual, just like the previous pair. They are lightly distressed with crochet lace peeking out through the bottoms. I love these for summertime and they will look so cute for a day at the splash pad or the park with the kids. They’re really comfortable and are also high-rise, so these are definitely one of my favorites.
This brand is one that I’ve never seen at Target before, so I’m assuming it’s one of their new lines. I ended up picking out a couple pairs of shorts from this brand. I tend to stay away from white shorts because I’m a huge klutz, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and pick these up. I love the detailing on the sides!
I freaking love floral prints so I flipped when I saw these shorts. I did have to hunt down my size, but I found them. I love how feminine these look, while still have some distress to them as the edges are frayed. I like pairing these with concerts tees for the contrast.
These look simple and distressed on the front, but the back is printed with stars and stripes! These are really cute for summertime, especially in July. I really like the stars & stripes print and these are really comfortable!
These are another by Universal Thread. These are really basic dark wash demin shorts with a tiny bit of fraying on the bottoms. I love these for everyday wear as they can go with just about anything. I think it’s always a great idea to have a basic pair of denim shorts and jeans in your wardrobe for everyday casual wear.
I’ve never been a huge fan of bermuda shorts, but I figured since I was in this deep, I might as well as in these to round out my shorts wardrobe. These are really cute, and – of course – distressed. I have found myself wearing these a lot during project days, so at least they serve a purpose in that sense.
This is the last pair of shorts I picked up. These are cute light wash shorts with slits in the sides and some white and red ribbon of some sort. These are every so slightly different than basic shorts, but similar enough that they will go will lots of different options.
I really like the new lines that Target is coming out with and I’m a big fan of the Mossimo Supply Co. line, cause that’s just classic. The price points of the shorts come in at $16.99-$19.99, which is pretty great for denim shorts!
What do you think of the shorts I picked up? Have you picked up any cute clothes at Target lately?
