h, one of my favorite parts of my seasonal FabFitFun box. Add-ons. Add-ons are items that FabFitFun offers at a discounted price. I do get early access to add-ons since I am a select member. I got lots of really interesting things this go-round that I can’t wait to play with! Let’s take a look!

FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that is sent out seasonally (4 times a year). It is $49.99 a box. Each season they send you a box of $200+ worth items in categories like beauty, fashion, and fitness.

P.S. I Made This with FABFITFUN DIY Tie-Dye Pillow Kit –Retails for $?, I paid $19.00. (It’s available on Amazon for $19.00 + $4.49 shipping)

I’ve always wanted to tie-dye something! I don’t know why I never have, but now that I have everything I need in a cute little kit, there’s no time like the present! I didn’t get a super great deal on this, but I’m not mad. It’s still an awesome craft kit. We have this kind of tie-dye vibe set up in our loft, so once I do this project, these pillows will go great there! I’ll be posting the process on my Instagram stories (@mommymessmer) if you’re interested!

Ling SparkLING Makeover o2 Mask Limited Edition Red Envelope (Retail $16.00, I paid $9.00)

As we all know, I love masks. This mask intrigued me, solely based on packaging. It’s a very pricey mask, so I have high hopes for it. It says it’s a foaming mask, which I haven’t really tried out before so I’m excited to try out a new type of mask!

Hand In Hand Orange Blossom Sugar Scrub (Retails for $18.00, I paid $5.00). | Hand In Hand Lavender Sugar Scrub (Retails for $18.00, I paid $5.00).

I actually bought these thinking they were hand scrubs, but alas I misread the description. Either way, I love sugar scrub, so I’m still happy. This company is a really great company too. For every product purchased, they donate one bar of soap and one month of clean water to a child in need. These scrubs have a really nice amount of grit, which equals a very exfoliation. They feel very hydrating and they smell amazing!

Way Of Will Himalayan Salt + Oatmeal Hand Soak (Retail $29.00, I paid $9.00) | Way Of Will Dead Sea Salt + Seaweed Extract Foot Soak (Retail $29.00, I paid $9.00)

These were really intriguing to me. I love doing foot soaks with Kylor, and I’ve never tried a specific “hand soak” before. These are made with pure essential oils, so these come with a lot of warning labels. They are very strongly scented. We haven’t tried these out yet, but based on first impressions, they look very promising! I can’t wait to give them a try! Keep an eye on my Instagram stories (@mommymessmer) for our test of them!

Cocoage Cosmetics Cocoa Powder 24K Gold Body Scrub in Brown Sugar (Retail $79.95, I paid $9.00) | Pre Heels XL (Retail $22.99, I paid $9.00)

Let’s talk about this scrub first. Look at that retail price. Who is paying that for a body scrub? I hate paying more than $20 for a scrub. I totally got this for a steal though. It was well worth the $9.00. This contains an essence of pure 24k gold (!) and it has the most amazing scent to it, and a nice amount of grit. This is definitely a luxe product.

Pre-Heels is a product that I’ve always seen during the add-on sales, but never pulled the trigger on. I don’t wear a ton of heels as a stay at home mom, but I figured it if works for heels, it would well for flats too, right? I haven’t tried it out yet, but the product claims definitely fit the bill for what I’m looking for. I’m hoping this becomes a staple in my closet.

Isaac Mizrahi Mesh Travel Pouches, 3 Piece Set (Retail $24.99, I paid $9.00)

I’m weirdly excited about these. I was looking for cute, somewhat neutral bags to use in my purse to organize things (emergency personal care, kids stuff, etc) and I saw these during the add-on sale! They’re already in my purse and they are perfect! I use the large one to hold snacks for my kids, and I couldn’t have asked for better bags. Definitely a new favorite!

R+CO Skyline Dry Shampoo Powder (Retail $36.00, I paid $11.00) | Marrakesh Argan & Hemp Oil Therapy Wave Sea Salt Spray (Retail $13.99, I paid $5.00)

I almost didn’t get this dry shampoo. I’m not a huge fan of powder products. They’re way messy and much harder to work with than a spray. However, I LOVE the R+CO brand. So, I took a chance. Holy shit. This has a pump, you guys! It’s a powder dry shampoo with a freaking pump! It sprays out a small amount so it’s much easier to work with. I legit have no complaints as of yet.

And since I can never have enough haircare, I also picked up a new wave spray. Now, in my defense, I actually don’t have a huge stockpile of wave sprays, which sucks since I go through them so quickly. This one is made with argan and hemp oil, which is great for the added benefits to my hair. I sometimes have issues with wave sprays doing nothing but tangling my hair, but so far this one seems to be working nicely. And it seriously smells like dessert. Swoon.

P.S. I Made This DIY Tassel Accessory Kit (Retail ?, I paid $19.00. Available on Amazon for $19.00 + $4.49 shipping)

Since this haul is obviously in no particular order, let’s talk about another DIY project. During this particular add-on sale, FABFITFUN was offering 4 different DIY projects, and I always love the kits they have – so much fun! I picked up the tie-dye pillows and this set – the Tassel Accessory Kit. This kit includes everything you need to make two keychains, a bracelet cuff, and two pairs of earrings! I love that I can make so many pieces for such a low price. I will also be featuring this on my Instagram (@mommymessmer), so keep your eyes open!

Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner (Retail $30.00, I paid $9.00) | Kristofer Buckle Power Lock Makeup Setting Spray (Retail $39.00, I paid $9.00 – available on Amazon for $28.00)

I’m constantly on the lookout for toners, because I go through them so quickly. I love Murad, but they’re so pricey. When I score a full size Murad product for 9 bucks, I’m totally there. I love this one because it’s a spray bottle, which makes it much easier to apply the product. It’s made with cucumber and grape seed extract, so it has a really fresh scent to it as well.

I also am slowly building up my stash of makeup setting sprays, and I’ve never heard of this Power Lock before. It comes in a very heavy metal can, reminiscent of a hairspray can. This does a slight alcohol scent to it (alcohol is the second ingredient), which is definitely a bit off to me. I haven’t tried this out on an all day face of makeup yet, so I can’t speak for staying power, but I’m really curious as to the performance, given the ingredient list.

FABFITFUN Collectible Tote (Retail $?, I paid $9.00)

I believe this was exclusive to the add-ons, since I can’t find it for sale anywhere else. I know, I know, a new tote bag is the last thing on this earth that I needed. But, totes are always useful right? And this is limited edition. And collectible. And cute! And I love FABFITFUN. The actual tote itself seems pretty sturdy. Just call me a sucker for cute promotional products. Le sigh.

Kate Spade Dahlia Travel Umbrella (Retail $48.00, I paid $19.00)

This is the cutest little umbrella ever. I’ll buy almost anything with a Kate Spade tag on it (RIP). This is perfect for me though, because we are constantly losing umbrellas . . . or, ahem, my husband is always stealing mine. At least the chances of him stealing this one from me are slim. This is seriously adorable though, and now I’m just patiently waiting for a rainstorm.

Zoe Ayla Luxurious Facial Jade Crystal Roller (Retail $69.99, I paid $9.00) | Evian Facial Spray (Retail $12.50, I paid $5.00)

I’ve seen these crystal rollers everywhere lately, and I’ve never actually quite understood them. I also didn’t care to spend $70 to find out. $9 is worth the risk to me. This is actually quite amazing. It sounds super gimmicky, and I’m the first one to admit that, but my face feels so much more relaxed since I started using this. If you’ve been wanting to try one, I definitely would give this a shot!

And this facial spray is just a summer staple here in AZ. It’s so cooling and refreshing. It’s basically just compressed water, but with a bit more of a luxe feel. I love having this with me, and I love that I can spray this on my kids too.

Hadron Epoch Weekly Planner (Retail $18.00, I paid $5.00) | Frasier Sterling Everyday Earring Combo (Retail $99.00, I paid $14.00)

I love weekly planners like this just for random reminders and to-dos. This one is nice because it is so compact. I also love that it has a spiral on it, instead of being a tear-off pad. It’s also a really pretty color 🙂

I really wanted to like these earrings. I didn’t even take them off of the package before one of them broke! They do feel kind of cheapy, especially given the price. The quality just isn’t what I was expecting, so I need to email FABFITFUN and see if I can get a replacement sent out or something, but right now, I’m obviously not impressed.

The last three products I bought were part of the Perfect Hair Day Bundle ($21.00), which I think is a steal, especially considering there is a full size Living Proof product in this bundle. This bundle included:

Marrakesh X Leave-In Treatment & Detangler (Retail $15.99)
This is a nice product. It’s a leave-in treatment and detangler that is infused with argan and hemp oil therapy. I haven’t tried this as a detangler, but it makes my hair feel really soft and hydrated and the smell is fabulous, of course!

Living Proof PHD 5-in-1 Styling Treatment (Retail $28.00)
I love me some Living Proof! This product claims to smooth, volumize, condition, strengthen and polish your hair. I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet, but I have incredibly high hopes for it since I haven’t had a dud Living Proof product yet.

Strong HairPro Deep Scalp Hair Therapy (Retail $42.50)
Jeez, that price. I didn’t have a huge interest in this, I mainly got this bundle for the other two products. However, I have been an Organix Scalp treatment lately, and it’s been amazing! So I’m glad to have another similar product to try out once I finish the one I’m currently using!

Since I can’t find the retail pricing for some of these items, I decided not to do a value review, but I can tell by glance that I definitely got a good deal! I loved the selection this season and I walked away from a ton of stuff. I really had to pick and choose this time because the selection was so good. I really love everything I picked (except for the earrings), and I’m really excited to keep using everything!

What do you think of my haul? Did you get anything from the add-ons?

    1. These are the add-ons, which are additional products you can get at an extra cost. The box itself I reviewed yesterday, so if you want to read that just scroll down! Either way though, it’s definitely worth the cost!
