I am so crazy late with this, but I’m super proud of this haul, so I have to share – right? I’m totally right. Gilt City recently had a promotion for Clinique. Basically, you got $25 off of a $75 purchase, plus a 2 full size products. Clinique (at the time) also had a free 5-piece gift set with a $40 purchase. And then, Gilt City came back and said you could also receive a new freebie that totally sold me on the whole deal. This was an insane deal! Read on to check out what I got:

This is an overview of everything I got. And I spent a grand total of $59.52! That is seriously so incredible and I cannot thank Gilt City enough. This was such a killer deal. Make sure you’re signed up for their e-mails – these deals come around all the time!
So the voucher itself was free from Gilt City. I’m first going to talk about the items I actually purchased.
Clinique Superprimer Universal Face Primer ($29.00)
I’ve tried samples of this primer before. It reminds me of a cheaper version of the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer ($54.00). It works the same way (at least for me), and I love the versatility of primers like this. This was an obvious choice for me – I’ve pretty much been searching for an excuse to buy this (please don’t ask to see my face primer drawer).
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer in 0.5 Breeze ($29.00)
I have the liquid version of this and I actually really like it, so the powder version seemed like an obvious choice. This comes with a really interesting tear drop shaped sponge applicator and is a nice, full-coverage powder. I love that this has the “concealer” in the powder – as a mom of three, anything that saves me a step is a win for me!
Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour ($23.00)
I love cream contours! I didn’t even know that Clinique had a cream contour as part of their chubby stick line. This is a beautiful matte shade that blends out so smoothly. It looks gorgeous on the skin and it provides a really gorgeous contour. I’m so glad I took a chance on this.
So I spent $81.00 on these products. I used my $25/$75 voucher from Gilt City, which brought the cost of these down to $56.00.
These are the products that Gilt City originally promoted as the freebie with purchase. This set included:
Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover ($19.00)
This isn’t my favorite makeup remover, but I won’t turn down a free full-size bottle of it. This is an okay makeup remover, but it’s oil-based so it does leave an oily residue and I don’t find that this takes off 100% of my makeup. So it’s okay, but I wouldn’t pay for a bottle.
Clinique High Impact Mascara ($18.00)
This is a really nice mascara! I actually enjoy Clinique mascaras, and this one is one of my favorites from the brand. It’s a nice opaque black shade and it lasts all day on me, even in this Arizona heat.
This first freebie has a retail value of $37.00.
The next little freebie promotion was a 5-piece freebie set that came with a $40 purchase. You got to pick four travel size products from dozens of options and then you also got a free “mystery bag”.
I got this adorable Jonathan Adler bag ($?) as my mystery bag. I’m not quite sure what I’ll be using this for, but it’s a pretty decent size so I’m happy to have it.
These are the four travel sizes that I picked:
Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in 13 Love Pop ($18.50)
This is such a cute lipstick! It’s in different packaging than the original line – a lip patterned print. The shade is gorgeous, a mid-tone shimmer raspberry. It’s super creamy and long-wearing. I have a few of these lipsticks and they are really great quality.
Clinique 2-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Gel + Light Makeup Remover ($6 estimated value)
I have recently discovered cleansing balms and I am a huge longtime fan of micellar waters. This product basically combines the two together. I cannot believe I have never seen this before. I haven’t gotten a chance to try this out yet, but I have no doubts about it – this is sure to be a new favorite!
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 4, 1 FL OZ ($2.23 estimated value)
These are my holy grail toners. Who hasn’t tried out this line from Clinique? My personal favorite is the Clarifying Lotion 4, but I can use any of them. I obviously snagged this as one of my options since I can never have enough of this, even in little baby sizes.
Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer, 0.5 FL OZ ($9.50)
This is the cutest little tub of moisturizer ever! The packaging is so freaking cute. This is an oil-free moisturizer. The first ingredient is water, which is nice. Moisturizers that give that cooling hydration boost are a must for Arizona summers for me. But, this moisturizer blurs! Clinique claims you can use this before foundation or alone. You guys. This makes my skin look so smooth and fresh. I cannot believe how well this works, especially when you take into account how light it feels for being a blurring product. I’m obsessed.
So these freebies have a retail value of $36.23 + the makeup bag. Not too shabby.
Now for the big one. A few days after I “reserved” my Gilt City voucher, I got an e-mail from them saying that now all orders placed with the vouchers receive an extra freebie. O.M.G.
This is the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush ($89.50).
So as far as I’m aware, this is like Clinique’s version of the Clarisonic Mia. I will admit that I haven’t tried this out yet, but only because I’m currently using one of those disposable Foreos, so I’m trying to run out that battery before opening something that has a brush head that you can change. I am so freaking stoked though. This is an incredible freebie and really helped me pull the trigger on placing the whole order.
If you’re still with me, this all means that Gilt City helped me get $243.73 worth of Clinique products for $59.52 ($3.52 worth of tax is included in that). That is such a killer deal. Especially considering most of these products I know and love, and a few are ones that I have been wanting to try!
What do you think of my haul? Did you take advantage of this Gilt City voucher?
