Can we seriously talk about how much Boxycharm has been killing it these past few months? They are taking the crown for best value out there, at least for me. I always use everything in my box, which is an absolute win! I cannot get over how great the curation of this box is.
Boxycharm is $21.00 a month and each month you get 4-6 beauty items that will include nail care, skin care, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more!
This month’s these is Roadtrippin’, which is perfect since I’m technically on vacation right now! I can’t wait to dig into their Road Trip essentials!
First up, we have the Farmacy Beauty Bright On Mask ($38). First product and we are already over the cost of the box! I freaking love that. This mask is really unique, which is crazy considering how many masks I’m currently hoarding. But, this baby is a Vitamin C clay mask that turns from purple to green while it removes impurities and buildup while improving skin’s brightness, texture and tone! I’ve been paying a lot of attention to my skin’s texture lately, so I’m really excited to try out a mask that is meant for that. Make sure to swing by my Instagram (@mommymessmer) to see this baby in action!
Next, we have a product that I am waaay too excited for – the Crown Brush Fuego Eyeshadow Collection ($29.99). I love getting full size eyeshadow palettes in this box! And this one is a great neutral palette. (As much as I love brights, there is always a place for neutrals in my heart.)
This palette swatched pretty well. There are a few shades that have some sheerness or some fallout issues, but all in all I think it’s a pretty decent palette. I probably wouldn’t pay the full asking price of $30 for it, but I think it’s a great addition to my collection and I’m happy to have received it in my box.
The next item is the Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara ($24). Wander Beauty is a really great brand, with very nice and high quality products. I’ve only tried a couple of their products and I don’t really hear people talk about them, so I’m excited to get to try a new one from them in a very popular box! I am a mascara fiend (what else is new), and this one is really nice, based on first impressions at least. It definitely seems to hold a curl and the description says that it conditions your lashes while you wear it, which is always nice.
Then we have the Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Compact Blusher ($11.99). I got this in the shade 05 Desert Rose. It’s a really great shade, so I’m pleased with that. I actually just picked up a few products from this brand from Ulta recently, and so far so good! This blush is supposed to prevent dryness, but I’m not quite sure how true that it. Although, I do love that it comes with a mirror in the compact and a little brush, so this is definitely great for traveling!
Last but not least, we have the Chella Beauty Eyebrow Cream ($26). I received this in the shade Taupe, which is a decent match for my brows. I’m actually surprised at how much I like this cream. The packaging is really great and I absolutely adore that it has a built in brush, which makes it perfect to take on a Road Trip! This is a velvet formula, and it truly does feel great on!
I definitely understand the curation of this month’s box, and I think that all of the products work well together, even though at first glance they look like an odd mis-mash. I love the value this month – they knocked it out of the park AGAIN if you look at the value. I cannot get enough of my Boxycharms, and I definitely recommend it if you are a makeup lover.
