Bomibox is a monthly subscription that sends 8 (sometimes more) full or deluxe size Korean beauty products to your door each month for $37.99 a month.
I am loving all of the k-beauty products that I’ve been trying recently. They have made such a difference in my skin, and I am feeling better than ever! This is one of my favorite subscription boxes, and the best one for k-beauty lovers that I have found! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for this month!
Bomibox does not send out a physical card each month, instead they send you an e-mail with all of the products + information. I love that they are a bit more environmentally friendly!
Pyunkang Yul Acne Facial Cleanser ($11.90)
I have seen this brand in Bomibox before, and I have really enjoyed all of the products that I’ve received from them so far. This is a very nice, full size tube of acne facial wash. I’ve been suffering from some blech breakouts these last few days, so this will be really great to try out. So far, it’s working out pretty great. It’s a really nice gel texture, which I love in cleansers!
Rovectin Cica Care Balm ($38.52)
This powerful pink treatment soothes breakouts & irritated skin with madecassoside, calamine, and Rovectin’s trademarked Barrier Repair Complex acts as a lipid to strengthen your skin barrier. Apply as a breakout treatment or a nighttime moisturizer.
Geez, that price! I had no idea what this was until I checked my information e-mail. It’s not nearly as thick as I assumed it would be since it’s called a “balm”. It’s got a light and creamy consistency. It feels nice and cooling when applied, and I love the fact that it can be used as a spot treatment or just a typical moisturizer!
A’pieu Madecassoside Cream ($15.00)
Meet the all-in-one hydrating moisturizer! This cream is formulated with 40% Centella asiatica leaf water and 0.1% madecassoside to soothe irritated skin and help repair skin damage. Niacinamide also brightens skin while witch hazel extract and panthenol keep skin hydrated and soft. Added to this list are adenosine and lactic acid to smooth and plump skin, making this the perfect nourishing treatment for tired, damaged skin.
This is a great moisturizer! It’s so thin and cooling, providing amazing hydration. I do question the need for two full size moisturizers in the same box, but they both compliment each other well ingredient-wise. I think I’m going to use this one in the morning and the other one at nighttime! I do really like the packaging of this, it’s very “medicine-y” looking, but still eye-catching.
Pyunkang Yui Nutrition Cream, ($3.90)
Another product from this great brand! This is meant to be used on extremely dry patches – which is great for AZ in the winter when my skin gets crazy dry. I’m very happy this came at just the right time for me. This is so hydrating for being such a thin cream – are you noticing the same trend I am here?
Ahhhh makeup! This is a really gorgeous lippie that contains a lot of oil extracts meant to keep your lips healthy and hydrated. The shade almost reminds me of a “barbie pink”, and it’s beautiful! My only issue with lippies like this, that are so oil-based and claim to be “hydrating” are that they don’t tend to stick around very long, which means pretty constant reapplying. I haven’t had a chance to try this out for a long period of time, but I’ll post an update on my Instagram (@mommymessmer)!
G9Skin Strawberry Milk Bomb Mask ($3.00)
OOOOO, my favorite! I really don’t need any more sheet masks, but really, has that ever stopped me? I love these ones shaped like milk cartons! I’ve always had really good luck with strawberry-based face masks, which gives me high hopes for this one. I’ve been posting reviews of all of the masks that I’ve been trying on my Instagram (@mommymessmer), and I plan on doing the same for this mask – which means I won’t be giving mini reviews in my empties post anymore, but I’ll explain more about that in this month’s empties post :).
Missha Aloe Airy Fit Sheet Mask ($2.00)
This sheet mask is supposed to provide you with an excellent fit – like air! I love that claim since I have such an issue with sheet masks not fitting properly and sliding off of my face. Does anyone else have this issue? I’ve used some Missha masks before and I did like them, so I plan on trying this very soon.
CosRX Acne Pimple Master Patch ($6.00)
This is a patch that you place on a breakout and leave on overnight. I’ve tried a similar product by a different brand in the past, and I loved it. I’ve been out for a while though, so I’m really hoping these work well for me. This particular product is sold at Ulta, which is super convenient for me. I’ve used one of these patches so far and I’m pretty pleased with the results, but I’d like to try out a couple of more before giving any real verdict on it. This is a really interesting remedy for acne though, so I love the fact that they included such a unique type of product in this box!
Another Bomibox, another great month! There were some redundancies that I noticed in this box, but I truly feel the value is there, and even with two moisturizing products, I think it will be nice to compare the two since they are quite similar. Either way, I’m happy with the box and I do highly recommend this for anyone who loves k-beauty, or is interested in diving into the k-beauty world!
