Sephora does a VIB sale bi-annually. I always like to take part on it, and use the discount to grab a couple of things that I have been wanting. This year, I have been absolutely loving this Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette that they released for the Holidays a couple of years back. (Meanwhile, I am debating also picking up the new one, but that will be saved for a later post – let me know down below if I should pick it up!) So this year, I decided to grab some Hourglass products that I have been wanting to snatch up for a while.
I only picked up two things. The first thing I snagged is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Nude Bronze Light ($50). This is a beautiful light bronzer, described as a neutral bronze shade fused with nude light to mimic a subtle warmth. It’s great for fair/light complexions. This is so beautiful to use on those “no make-up days”. It adds a stunning subtle glow. I do like to use this for a slight contour to give my face some slight definition and a sheer-ish glow. These are on the pricey side for bronzers, but I am seriously so obsessed with these lighting powders. Ya’ll have to try them out if you haven’t already. Life. Changing.
The other thing that I picked up was the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette in Radiant Finish ($62). This palette is a bit on the smaller side. To be blunt, it’s much smaller than I’d expect for $62. But, I did know the size before I ordered it. And it’s that good. This contains three pans/products. It comes with Dim Light, Incandescent Light, and Radiant Light. These are soft-focus finishing powders that blur out the skin and make it look flawless. Legit, flawless. I love how my skin looks like so much using these powders that I sprung for this palette. And granted, I did get a discount, but even then it was pricier than I prefer!
I am super excited about these two additions to my collection. I am somewhat new to the Hourglass brand, but I am dying over the quality of these products. Even the packaging is luxe and sleek. What do you think about Hourglass? What Hourglass products should I try next?
