Those quarterly/seasonal subscription boxes are starting to roll in! I don’t know about you, but these are my favorite boxes. They’re a bit pricier than most monthly boxes, but the values hidden inside are so well worth it. And the Margot Elena Seasonal Discovery Box is one of my all-time favorites. Margot Elena is responsible for some of my favorite brands and this box is such a great way to try out products across the board – different products from her different brands. And so far, they’ve all been full size!
The Margot Elena Seasonal Discovery box is a quarterly subscription box. The cost is $49.99 a season, with a $20 discount if you purchase an annual subscription.
From their website:
Discover the world of All Things Beautiful with the Margot Elena Discovery Box filled with over $200 worth of full-sized* products curated by our team. Margot starts out with a bang this month with a highly requested product – a bubble bath! In this box, we got the TokyoMilk Rose with Bees Bon Bon Bubble Bath ($22). Fans of this box on social media have been lobbying for bubble bath for months now, so I’m sure a ton of people are happy to see it! And if you’re like me and aren’t a huge bath person (or if you don’t have a bathtub), this box also included a pump so you can transform this into a hand soap or a shower gel!
We also got a Margot Elena Stories & Songbirds Eye Mask ($20). This is an exclusive to this box! It has a really nice feel to it and it’s very wide – making it perfect to block at allll light so beauty sleep can come that much easier.
This next product is pretty interesting to me – it’s the Library of Flowers Linden Parfum Crema ($21). This is very heavily scented, as expected but the creme itself is very luxe, on the thicker side and carries a whipped texture. It feels like Heaven as a hand cream and the little tin gives me all of the vintage vibes.
One of my favorites of this box – PERFUMEEEE. And it’s by TokyoMilk. I die. It’s the TokyoMilk Dark La Vie La Mort Perfume Rollerball ($22). This scent is to die for. It’s got notes of White Tuberose, Cardamom, Hibiscus Leaf, Jasmine, which all come together to make a dark and musky, yet feminine scent. And this is a great size for tossing into your purse!
These next couple of items aren’t the most exciting items ever, but they are pretty damn useful. We received a Margot Elena Book of Thoughts Floral Journal ($20) and a TokyoMilk Classic Small Tote Bag ($12). This journal is absolutely stunning. It’s a fabric cover with lined pages. And we all know I am a huge fan of the floral. I’m not the biggest fan of tote bags, especially smaller ones like this. But, they are useful and this one is really quirky and cute, so I’m happy to have it.
What is Fall time without a good candle? And Margot Elena comes through again, this time with the Library of Flowers Honeycomb Luminary ($16)! This has a top note of sugared fig, making it a perfect match for the early evenings of Fall. I have this on my dining room table and we always light a candle during family dinners. I’m so pleased to be using this one and my kids love the scent of it, too!
We also received the Lollia Dream Perfumed Shower Gel & Handcreme Duo ($26). It looks like this does come in a full size, but this box included the travel size, which I can’t find online. The Lollia shower gel is one of my top picks in shower products and if you haven’t ever tried it, you are so missing out. I love that this includes the accompanying hand cream (or lotion, as it says on the bottle) to keep that scent lasting all day long.
Speaking of larger than life scent, Margot Elena’s box normally includes a full size handcreme. I now have an obnoxious collection of hand creams, but they all smell soooo good that I’m not mad at it. In this box, I received the TokyoMilk Light Transformation Shea Butter Handcreme ($22). I must say, I am so in love with the packaging of these hand creams. It’s so luxurious and it just has that classy feel to it. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? This hand cream has an earthy, amber and citrus scent to it which is perfect for early Fall, heading to cold depths of Winter. And to protect us even more so from the cold harsh reality of Winter, I also got a Margot Elena Cucumber Rose Lip Therapy ($8). I can’t find this one online, but I do think it’s worth the hunt. I never expected to like cucumber and rose combined, but this is such a delicious scented lippie. And in it’s over sized packaging, I could definitely see this lasting me the whole season!
As we come to a close here with the last two products, I want to introduce you to a beauty staple that is way too often forgot about. But, don’t worry. Margot took care of that for you this season, as well. Here we have the TokyoMilk Sugar Mint Lip Scrub ($16). Seriously people, scrub your lips! It’ll make any lipstick look 10x better. And this beauty is packaged in a glass jar with a gold lid and gold accents and honey, just take my moneyyy. Plus, I’m not a huge fan of the scent of straight mint, but this sugared-down version is definitely my cup of tea.
For the finale today, I give you the Lollia Breathe Triple-Milled Shea Butter Soap ($12). I put Margot Elena soaps from all of her brands in my guest bathroom, and I will tell you – I have never in my life gotten so many compliments and questions about bathroom soap before. This one is peony & white lily, which just screams “guest bathroom” to me. I don’t know, when I was a kid, all of the fancy soaps went straight to the guest bathroom, and this is absolutely a fancier soap. I applaud you, Margot, for making soap envy-worthy.
This box is worth a retail value of $217. That is absolutely incredible and I am so in love with this box, yet again. This is just one of those boxes that consistently knocks it out of the park, and as of now I am convinced they can do no wrong. I mean, what’s not to like? Unless you aren’t a fan of perfumed products, seriously consider checking this box out. It’s amazing.
