It’s that time again! I’m still super bummed that Popsugar Must Have switched from a monthly box to a quarterly box, but that doesn’t stop me from getting oh-so excited when this beautiful package shows up on my doorstep . . . once every three months. . . wahhh. Anyways, today I have the newest Fall box to share with you! This box is no longer available, so if you do choose to sign up now you’re first box will be the Winter box (which I am already waiting not-so-patiently for)!
Popsugar Must Have is $75 a quarter and every quarter, Lisa Sugar and her editorial staff will curate an exciting quarterly box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which we will deliver to your door. The quarterly box features full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover. Your quarterly subscription box will include products worth over $250.
The first thing in the box this quarter is a Soia & Kyo Larisa Scarf ($75). This is an ultra soft over sized scarf that can also be worn as a shawl, a cape, or even a travel blanket. It’s got a geometric pattern and soft gray and rose hues. I can’t find this online, so I’m guessing it might be an exclusive to this box? Let me know if the comments if you know!
This is a beautiful scarf, but I don’t tend to wear a lot of scarves. Like, ever. So I’ll probably end up passing this one on. It’s unfortunate, but I’m just not a scarf person. I might end up keeping it to use as a travel blanket, come to think of it. . .
The next item I am way more excited about. This is the Jules Smith Jane Cuff ($90). This is so beautiful and was available in one of three finishes that subscribers got to pick from. This cuff is adjustable and can be worn on your arm or your wrist.
I personally like the look of it this way, more-so than the way it is styled in pictures. It’s a bit of a pain to adjust, but I can make it bigger or smaller, so I’m happy. I cannot get it to fit on my arm for the life of me though, so I’ll have to make due with this on my wrist.
This next one may just be my favorite product in the entire box, the Tarte Cosmetics Tight & Bright Clay Multi-Mask ($40). This is a two-part multi-tasking mask. It’s a vegan and hypoallergenic treatment that contains Amazonian clay to remove impurities from the skin and help tighten pores.
You put the pearlescent mask on your face where you want to mattify you skin and the gold hydrating mask on the rest of your face to help soothe inflammation. We all know I am a huge fan of Tarte Cosmetics and a huge mask junkie AND LOOK AT THIS PACKAGING. How stunning. I haven’t tried this yet since I’m doing the #octobermaskchallenge, but you can see that challenge + this mask on in action on my Instagram (@mommymessmer)!
Okay ya’ll. We finally got a home item. And a cute one, at that! This is the Tribe Alive Leather Marbled Valet Tray ($58). This is another one that I can’t find online. :/. But this is a genuine leather and hand-marbled tray created by female artisans in Guatemala, Haiti, India, Honduras, and Fort Worth, TX, to provide at-risk women with living wages. Well that’s sweet. I know some people may have an issue with the fact that this tray is made from genuine leather, and I do think it’s a risky move for PopSugar to include this in here.
I do love the marbled look and it will match several rooms of decor in my house, so I’m sure I’ll be able to find a place for this easily. And who doesn’t need a pretty catchall?
This next product is an interesting one to me. It’s The Casery Phone Pocket ($15). I received the rose gold version, and judging by the information booklet, that’s what everyone received? I’m good with it though, I LOVE rose gold everything. It’s an interesting concept though. This is a case with two card slots and a secure 3M adhesive backing so it can stick to your phone case “easily and securely”. I’m planning on sticking this to my phone case because it’s adorable and does seem like it would make quick trips to the store a bit easier when I don’t want to lug in my entire purse.
I do wonder though, what about the people who have the Pop Sockets stuck on their phones? I know those are growing in popularity and I used to have one, but it broke. This never would have fit, so the people who currently have a Pop Socket on their phone will likely have to choose between that and this. Hm.
For every iffy product they send, PopSugar also send a real winner and today we have that in the form of a new lippie! This is the Lipstick Queen Method In The Madness Manic Mauve ($25). If you haven’t tried Lipstick Queen lipsticks, you are sorely missing out, my friend. And this is a marbled lipstick! I die. The packaging is beautiful and the lipstick is a mauve hue that will flatter a variety of skin tones and is perfect for everyday wear. I am so obsessed with the shade of this! Check out Instagram (@mommymessmer) for a lippie swatch of the lipstick I am seriously going to be wearing everyday this Fall.
Oh, Popsugar, you spoil me. Another home piece. And an organization piece. Sigh. This is the Umbra Pendant Mini Scarf Hanger ($11.99). Like I said earlier, I don’t wear scarves – however, this will be great for one of the girls rooms or even just my misc accessories. Either way, I know that this piece will get used and isn’t that what matters? And the finish is delightful as well!
The last item included in this quarters box (kind of) is the HUM Nutrition Killer Nails Supplements ($10). This is literally biotin in a bottle. Biotin is widely used for strengthening nails and hair. There is a warning on the bottle (as with any supplements) to check with a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. I am still breastfeeding, so these will be on the back burner for me for a bit. Although, I’m not a huge supplement person to begin with, so I’m not quite sure how much I really want to try these. I’ll have to do some more research. Do you use supplements like these?
And for the real finale, Popsugar sometimes sends out sponsored products that don’t count towards the overall value of the box. This quarter we definitely got spoiled with these sponsored products! This box included four sponsored items. We have the Bliss Makeup Melt Wipes ($7). These are oil-free makeup remover wipes! They are packed with chamomile, marshmallow root, cucumber and aloe extract to nourish and soothe skin. I use makeup remover wipes everyday, so I’m so eager to give these a try!
The second sponsorship is the Clorox Zero Splash Bleach Packs ($3.67). I know a lot of people that this was a really weird inclusion in this box, but to be honest I’m really impressed by this. These can be used a ton of different ways to get almost everything in your home sparkling clean! These will definitely get used by my family!
The third sponsorship was the K. Hall Designs Lavender Sachet. I can’t find this exact item online, so I’m not sure of the value or pricing, but these are great to have to stick in drawers or on shelves to give your clothes a fragrance boost! Since this is lavender, it would also be great to stick in your pillowcase to relax before bedtime! That’s definitely what I plan on doing with mine.
The last sponsorship is the Liz Claiborne “Sloane” Rose Gold Sunglasses ($32). I’m not quite sure if the pair I linked to is this exact pair, but it is at least similar. This is definitely a nice sponsored product! Sunglasses are normally a hero item in my experience. These have brown to pink gradient lenses and rose pink temple tips. They also help shield your eye from the sun with UV protection and come with a micro-fiber pouch for storage.
This was a really amazing box! The value of the items were insane and the sponsored items gave this box a whole sense of the word “impressive”. PopSugar has always been a fave of mine, and while I do wish that they would return to their old monthly boxes, I can’t help but get giddy with excitement for these extra-luxe quarterly boxes.
What did you think of this box? Do you prefer PopSugar’s monthly or quarterly boxes?
