I know I say this every month, but I can’t believe another month has sped by. This year is just going way too fast! And I am here with another empties post! I used up a ton of products this month because I was really focused on using up some of my travel-size stash, and I was able to get through quite a bit this month. So let’s take a look!

First I’m going to talk about some hair care. As you can see, I was pretty damn successful with the hair care this month! I used up one full size shampoo/conditioner, the Pantene Radiant Color Shine Conditioner ($6.49). This doesn’t seem to be available online, but I love it! I really am hoping it isn’t discontinued. I used to hate Pantene conditioners because they made my hair too oily, but over the years they have become one of my favorites.

And then in travel sizes, I used up a Kerastase Reflection Bain Chromatique Multi-Protecting Shampoo ($9.60 estimated value). I actually really liked this shampoo. It was great to use on my freshly-dyed hair and it smells so incredible! And then we have a Matrix Biolage Cleansing Conditioner ($0.38 estimated value), which I was really impressed with! It has the most amazing citrus scent and made my hair feel healthier and more vibrant. One of my favorites this month is the Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo ($6.50 estimated value). I am a huge fan of Living Proof brand, but especially this no frizz line. My hair gets really frizzy as the weather gets cooler, and this has been a huge help for that!

These products were good, but the packaging are those bottles that are hard to get the last bit of product out, so I’m not a HUGE fan of the packaging. But, I used up the Love Beauty & Planet Smooth and Serene Conditioner ($1.55 estimated value), the Paul Mitchell Color Care Color Protect Daily Conditioner ($2.56 estimated value), the Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Ultimate Repair Conditioner ($0.68 estimated value), the Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Uplift Conditioner ($3.86 estimated value), Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo ($3.10 estimated value), Nexxus Keraphix Conditioner ($4.44 estimated value x2), and the Phillip Adam Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner ($2.62 estimated value). The Phillip Adams was actually sent to me for review, so I don’t want to spoil anything – my review is coming on Friday, but I will say that besides this particular packaging, I have nothing but good things to say!)

I also managed to use up some other hair products that aren’t shampoos and conditioners! (go me!) I managed to get through some full size products – I used up a Redken Triple Take 32 Extreme High-Hold Hairspray ($22). I actually really like this hairspray and have gone through a couple of cans of this. I still have a couple left in my stash and my husband is itching to try it out, so I’ll get his thoughts on it in an upcoming empties post. I also used up the Fortune Cookie Soap Body Shot Detangler ($10.99). This is a pretty cool detangler. It worked really well and left my hair feeling super hydrated, and it smells like raspberry lemonade! I would definitely get this again, but it looks like it’s out of stock online. I used up the OGX Refreshing Scalp + Teatree Mint Scalp Treatment ($8.99), which was amazing! It has a really nice mint scent and it is a great scalp treatment that made my hair so shiny and smooth! A couple of my favorites this month were the Bumble & Bumble Surf Infusion ($29) and the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($36).

I also used up some travel sizes – the Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray – Tropical Banana ($2.99) – this smells so damn good! I used up a John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Creme ($2.24 estimated value), the HASK Charcoal Purifying Dry Shampoo ($2.08 estimated value), and the Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion ($6.17 estimated value). I actually had really good luck with all of these. They all worked really well. That Oribe gave me such a nice, soft tousled look without the use of any other products! And I am so on board with charcoal dry shampoos now!

Finally moving on from hair care, I used up a few travel size skin care products – I used up a Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel ($3.35 estimated value). I love the Bioderma brand and this was such a nice cleanser. It left my skin feeling soft and refreshed and CLEAN! I used a Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser ($8.83 estimated value). I got this in a Bless Box a couple months ago and I was really surprised by the performance of this! I don’t have a lot of experience with Clarins products, but I really want to try more from the brand now! I also used a VenEffect Micro-Exfoliant ($6 estimated value) and a Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream ($11.47 estimated value). Both of these were amazing. Both of these are also on the pricier side. I have a couple more little baby sizes of these in my stash that I can’t wait to tear through!

I used up a few body-type products. A couple of full size ones – a Bath & Body Works Apple Blossom & Lavender Shower Gel ($12.50). This scent isn’t available any more, which pains me because this is such a beautiful scent. Apples & Lavender apparently work very well together. I also used a Yorba Organics Softening Foot & Heel Balm ($18). Every Yorba product that I’ve tried has had a really odd scent to them, and it just kind of bothers me. The products themselves are normally okay, but I just cannot get past that smell, so I wouldn’t ever repurchase. And then we have a Skin & Co Blue In Capri Shower Gel ($22). OMG I want to buy a thousand of these. This is a limited edition scent and it is so unbelievably good. This. THIS is why I subscribe to FabFitFun boxes. So amazing! I highly recommend grabbing a bottle while you can!

I also did go through a couple of travel sizes – a Molton Brown Gingerlily Body Wash ($10.56 estimated value), a Shea Moisture African Black Soap Bamboo Charcoal Body Scrub ($3.99 estimated value), and a Purlisse Coconut Oil + Coffee Sugar Body Scrub ($4.20 estimated value). I really liked all of these, actually. Both of the scrubs were nice, which is odd because I’m really weird about scrubs. And the body wash was delish, so no complaints here! 🙂

Up next is a bit of a larger selection of empties – masks. I won’t be sharing many thoughts on these (which is now the normal for masks) because I do mask selfies + mini reviews on every mask that I do on my Instagram (@mommymessmer), so go check them out!

These are non-sheet masks, so I’m just going to list them out:

GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment ($5.75 estimated value).
Goodal Wash Up Deep Clean Pure Glacial Clay ($2.42 estimated value).
Omorovicza Ultra Moor Mud Mask ($12.50 estimated value).
Dermalogica Rapid Reveal Peel ($8.50 estimated value).
Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask ($2.84 estimated value).

And here are of the sheet masks I used up! I did a lot of mask challenges, which helped me get through a ton of these very quickly.

Melt Me Softly Blackhead Nose Pack ($1)
Victoria’s Secret PINK You’re My Blueberry Jam Superfruit Sheet Mask ($4.95)
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Mask ($2.99)
BRTC Vitamin C Velvet Mask (I can’t find this online except for at eBay, so I don’t know the retail cost)
FeelXo Glowing Marigold Mask ($4.50)
A’Pieu Fruit Vinegar Sheet Mask ($1.99)
Skinesque Brightening + ($7.50)
Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks ($4.16)
Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Hydro Gel Mask ($6)
Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches ($3.42 estimated value)
Hidden Cos Americano Mask ($1.99)
Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask ($6)
Bio Republic Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Sheet Mask ($4.99)
I’m Sorry For My Skin Black Mud Mask – Tightening ($5)
Annie’s Way Black Tea Bubble Tea Mask ($2.25)
Leaders Labotica Rice Skin Soft Mask ($2)
Purlisse Coconut + Rice Nourishing Sheet Mask ($6)
Esfolio Volcanic Ash Essence Mask Sheet ($2.25)
Medius Gold Sericin Cream Mask ($4)
A’Pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask ($2.76)
Ariul Wheat & Celery Juice Cleanse Mask ($2.99)
BioRepublic Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask ($4.99)
Oerbeua Just A Little Bit Firming Mask ($3.00)

I used up some makeup products this month! I did go through some full size products – I used up a Kate Somerville UncompliKated SPF 50 Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray ($38). I honestly hated this. I love Kate Somerville products normally but this was just weird. The sprayer was god-awful. It sprayed out almost in a clumpy way. And the scent was absolutely horrific. Like paint primer. I am glad to be rid of it. I also used up a couple of mascaras – a Covergirl Katy Kat Eye in Black ($8.99) and a Covergirl Plumpify blastPRO in Very Black ($11.49). I liked both of these and Covergirl is my favorite drugstore mascara brand, so I’d definitely use these again!

I also used up a couple sample sizes of some makeup. I used up the cutest little tube of the Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Full Coverage Foundation in Y205 ($6.01 estimated value). This was so beautiful on the skin and I really want to buy the full size of this, just maybe in a different shade. I also used up a couple of primers, a BareMinerals Blemish Ready Mattifying Prep Gel ($2.50 estimated value) and a Touch in Sol No Poreblem Primer ($2.84 estimated value). These were both really good, but the BareMinerals primer is on the last chance section of their website, so if you are looking for a great primer for acne-prone skin, I would snatch this up!

I also used up a little perfume sample, a Hermes Le Jardi De Monsieur Li Eau de Toilette. This smelled so great! It has notes of jasmine and kumquat, which go really well together! It’s a very luxurious scent.

And last but not least, we have some random empties. My husband used up a Fortune Cookie Soap Smash! Bath Bomb Crumbles ($8.99). He loved the scent of these and the fact that they were Hulk themed – it’s his favorite Marvel character! I also used up two of these Glov On-The-Go Makeup Removers ($12.99 x 2). These were okay. They’re similar to the Makeup Erasers, but they claim to last up to 3 months and they stopped removing all of my makeup after a week, which is why I have two used packages. I have one more in my stash, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

I also used up some basic items that I’ve talked about before: a Pond’s Evening Soothe Wet Cleansing Towelettes ($4.69), an Evri Konjac Sponge ($3.98), a Gillette Venus with Olay Sugarberry Bliss Shave Gel ($8.49), and a Swisspers Premium Cotton Rounds ($2.27).

I’ve used up over $502.16 worth of products this month!
I’ve used up over $3,907.16 worth of products so far this year!

What have you used up recently? What are your favorite products of the month?
