I normally don’t splurge on Bath & Body Works candles – and $24.50 for a good-not-great candle is definitely a splurge for me, but they had a sale a couple of weeks ago where candles were $12.95 each, and I had a coupon for $10/$30 purchase! So I decided to splurge a little. Well, technically my whole family did because we made candle shopping a family event! So today I’m going to share with you my mini candle haul and my favorite Fall scents from Bath & Body Works this year!
Look at how pretty they all look! I love that the candles have fall-ish designs on the containers. It’s like a candle and decor all in one! I personally love using these on my counter top or my dining room table. Where do you put yours?
The first scent that I got is Autumn Woods. This has notes of Dark Walnut, English Lavender, and White Amber. This is more of a “manly” scent that my husband and I loved! The kids weren’t huge fans, and it does seem to be a bit muskier than most of their scents. We were aiming for musky scents because that screams fall to us, so I’m very happy with this one!
The next scent I picked up is the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. The fragrance notes in this candle are Maple Syrup, Golden Waffles, Pumpkin Spice and Brown Sugar. How delicious does that sound? I love food scented candles and Kylor hates them, but I HAD to pick this one up. It’s sweet smelling without smelling like straight sugar, and the scent just evokes those memories of Sunday morning breakfasts that were a great treat as a child.
This next one caught my eye based on the packaging alone. I love Flannel everything in the Fall time, so I knew this candle was going to be one of my picks. Luckily, my husband was a big fan of this as well. It’s another “manly” scent – I hate using that as a description, but that’s the word that comes to mind. It reminds me of a mens cologne, ya know? This one has fragrance notes of Fresh Bergamot, Heirloom Mahogany, and Soft Musk. It’s a bit lighter than the Autumn Woods scent, but it’s perfect for smaller rooms.
Do you see this. Seriously. This one is Hot Cocoa & Cream. They made a freaking hot cocoa scented candle. I’m just dead, ya’ll! The kids were obsessed with this one in the store, so Kylor gave in :). This one has fragrance notes of Decadent Milk Chocolate, Fresh Steamed Milk, and Mini Marshmallows. This candle smells so good, I have debated eating it. They captured the scent of a freshly made cup of hot cocoa astoundingly well. Kudos, Bath & Body Works!
Of course, this is a Fall candle haul, and what would that be if not for some pumpkin scents? We picked up the Pumpkin Peanut Brittle. This one I’m not the biggest fan of as the scent becomes a bit muddled for me, but the kids loved it and it was a food-scented candle that Kylor actually kind of liked. This has fragrance notes of Crunchy Caramel Brittle, Salty Peanuts, and Toasted Pumpkin Seeds.
And the last candle is a candle that I can get behind! This is the Pumpkin Cupcake scent. This is not an over-powering scent, but there is that sickly-sweet sugar component to it, so if you aren’t a fan of that, I would definitely skip this candle. The fragrance notes in this are Whipped Buttercream, Madagascar Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice, and Freshly Baked Cupcake. It sounds like a weird mish-mash of scents, but trust me – it works in the most perfect way.
What Fall scents did you pick up this year? Are you a fan of food scented candles?
