FabFitFun is a seasonal lifestyle subscription box. It is $49.99 a box. Each season they send you a box of $200+ worth items in categories like beauty, fashion, and fitness. As a Select member, I pay yearly and receive a discounted price, as well as early access to add-ons and more customization options than seasonal members. (HINT: Sign up via this link and we will both save $10 off of our next boxes!) This is a review of the winter season box.
The first item (and largest) in this winter season’s box is the Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw in Gray/Ivory ($49). Select members were able to choose between this color and a Natural/Ivory throw. I chose the gray because I preferred the tones. This will go more with my home decor theme. This woven throw has a stripe pattern and fringe detailing. It’s hand-wash only, which is a little inconvenient, but I think that is more for the fringe than anything else since this is made out of acrylic. Eh, I’ll use it but I have cuter throws already.
These next few goodies are all things that members were able to choose. Some were choices for select members only, but I’ll clarify as we go.
The first choice was for all members and you were able to choose between a Bearpaw Combo Set: Headband and Pop-Top Glove Duo ($45) or a Moroccan Gold Series Treatment Mask ($49). I think that the headband and glove duo is super cute, but I live in AZ. Our winter season doesn’t get as cold as most of the country, so I don’t have a huge need for cold-weather accessories like that. I picked the treatment mask. I’ve used this before and it’s seriously so freaking good. I knew I wanted to take advantage of it being available in this box, because I hate paying that much for hair products. This has such a great sense and is great for keeping my hair healthy during the winter season.
The second choice was for all members and the options were a H Halston Jewelry Portfolio ($48), an Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo ($44), and a Lele Sadougi Silver Circle Necklace ($49). I actually already have a jewelry portfolio from a recent Happy Rebel box that I really like, and I’m not a huge fan of the style of the necklace, so I opted for the dry shampoo. I am an Oribe junkie, but everything from the brand is so expensive! I’m so happy that this was an option and I love that is was so easy for me to make my decision!
The third choice was also for all members (the last choice that all members got) and you were able to choose between the Richer Poorer Reina Over The Knee Textured Socks ($24), the Sherrie Matthews Acupuncture Jade Stone Roller ($45), or the PUR Be Your Selfie Palette ($36). This was honestly the hardest selection for me to make because honestly, I wasn’t loving any of these products. The socks are adorable and perfect for the winter season, but I hate over-the-knee socks and I’d never wear them. I already have a jade roller (and a mini one), and I love them both. I ended up going with the eyeshadow palette, even though that’s the last thing I need more of. It is a beautiful palette with a few downright incredible shimmer and glitter shades that I can’t wait to try.
The next choice item was for Select members only and the options were a Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Meringue ($26), a Chic & Tonic I’ll Coast To That! 4-Piece Coaster Set ($18), and the Brooke Burke Body Sliders ($18). This was another selection that was hard for me, but this time it was because I wanted everything! I ended up choosing the lipstick – what a beautiful shade for the winter season! When I made my selections, I was planning on getting two sets of coasters as add-ons but they were all out of stock. I was super bummed. The wood design would have matched my winter season decor really well. I did decide to skip the body sliders because I am comparing different versions at the moment.
The last choice item was also for Select members only and it included two options: Way of Will Elevate Essential Oil Set ($31) or the Anthropologie x Mer-Sea & Co Sea Whip Body Cream in Coconut Sugar ($24). I have so many freaking body lotions that even during this winter season I have faith my skin will be taken care of. I chose the essential oil set because we just added another oil diffuser to our home. Kylor loves the Eucalyptus scent, so that was a huge plus!
The last few items in this box were items that came in everyone’s box with no choices to be made.
We got the Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella ($24). This shimmer champagne highlighter is infused with macadamia and meadowfoam oil. I have one of these brighteners and am pleased to have a back up. This is really great for an inner corner or cupid’s box highlight.
We also got the Ahava Hydration Cream Mask ($33) and the Blaq Hygrogel Eye Mask with Hyaluronic Acid ($29). Seriously, I have been masking almost everyday during this winter season. It has been so helpful in keeping my skin hydrated because my skin does lean towards being too dry during the winter seasons. The Ahava mask provides crazy hydration and I love their Dead Sea line. The Blaq eye masks are probably my favorite eye masks. I’m so stoked that FabFitFun chose these masks to include in this box because I use them all the time.
I really enjoyed this box. I love the choices that I was able to make and I’m really happy with the products that came in every box. FabFitFun did a great job with the curation of this box and everything is very usable, which is a huge plus for me!
