I’ve tried a ton of makeup brands out there, but there always seems to be a few that slip under my radar. Jouer isn’t a brand I’ve paid much attention to before. I’ve tried their lip enhancer, but that’s about it. When I heard that they had released some mystery boxes (Mystery Matchbox), something drew me to their website. How have I never given them a second glance before? They have consistently beautiful packaging, unique products and a decent price range.

They are offering three Jouer Mystery Matchboxes:

Jouer Mystery Matchbox #1 ($45) – comes with 5 items.
Jouer Mystery Matchbox #2 ($55) – comes with 5 items.
Jouer Mystery Matchbox #3 ($65) – comes with 6 items.

Hint: If you go to each matchbox’s page, they give you a hint at an item included!

I bought the Jouer Mystery Matchbox #3 ($65). If you sign up for their text message ads, they’ll send you a code for 15% off your purchase!

I’m going to start with the smaller products and we are going to jump straight into the lippies. Jouer technically sent three lippies in this box, one of which is the Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer ($16). This is the only Jouer product that I’ve used before and I’m a huge fan. The Essential Lip Enhancer is one of my favorite lip treatments. It’s not sticky, it makes your lips look fuller and it decreases the fine lines that settle on your lips.

This box also came with two lippies on the fun side of life! We got the Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme in Blush ($18) and the Jouer Long-Wear Lip Topper in Frost Bite ($16). Blush is a beautiful shade that goes on smoothly and leaves behind a gorgeous opaque color. Frost Bite is a lip topper made with coconut oil that adds a beautiful wash of shimmer on top of another lip color. The packaging on both of these is sleek and sophisticated. They both an edging to them that seems like they’re supposed to attach to something, but I can’t figure out what. Leave me a comment down below if you know what their purpose is!

Jouer also included a Creme Eyeshadow Crayon in Avant Garde ($18). Avant Garde is a shimmering navy charcoal. It sounds like a scary shade, but this crayon blends out so easily that it works great for accents or even using in your crease (I speak from experience). This thing makes for a beautiful smokey eye!

Jouer Mystery Matchbox Blush Palette

Jouer knows what they’re doing with this packaging. The outside of the Jouer Blush Bouquet Coquette Blush Duo ($30) is stunning and the inside houses two pink blushes stamped with the Jouer logo. The two shades in this palette are Seduce Me, a matte cool berry pink, and Tease Me, a satin cool light pink. Seduce Me blends out beautifully on the skin and leaves you with a velvet smooth texture. Tease Me is a bit more on the chalky side, but it can be worked with.

Jouer Mystery Matchbox Eyeshadow Palette

The last item that was sent in this Mystery Matchbox is the Jouer Rose Gold Matte & Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette ($40). Featuring 5 shimmering metallics and 7 matte shades, this palette is perfect for day-to-night looks with a pop of color. Excuse my swatch picture up there, I’m still working out proper angles, but these shades do swatch beautifully and blend out really well on the eye. This palette also features a large mirror, making it a great option to travel with. You’d have all of the colors you need and a nice mirror on the go!
